I had the pleasure of recently doing a podcast with Randi and thought she was an amazing person. She was easy to talk to, well-informed, and totally empathetic to everything we discussed, even the hardest mental health-based topics for me personally to open up on, i.e. OCD, PTSD, social and generalized anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, etc. She was kind enough to forward me her four published books, which I read immediately. Diamond the Cat and Operation Deck the Halls were a blast to read with my daughter and really captured some special notes in each. A Mother's Truth and Embracing Me are raw, honest, heartbreaking, and inspiring, and I fully appreciated all of it. She has some great takeaways in the forms of customizable charts, links, resources, referral recommendations, and the books end on several high notes, highlighted by some of her culminating journeys. She is a very strong and resilient person, and uses this platform to bring awareness and assistance to anyone willing to dive into her stories. Mental health is an ever-changing topic, and eliminating longstanding stigmas is an absolute must. We need more people like Randi leading the charge and I am very humbled and blessed to now know someone of her caliber. Thank you for being you, Randi, and thank you for pouring your heart and soul onto the pages of these books.
